David loved fishing and most every sport. While in high school, he played basketball for the Lily Wildcats. David was a car salesman, did interior-exterior painting and probed railroad grain cars taking samples of grain, which he was doing at the time of his death. He fell approximately 15 feet from the top of the railroad car onto cement and was declared brain dead. The quilt square was made by a friend.
