My husband spent his entire life on the farm. In fact, he was baptized in our living room. Not until he had a family did he realize something could be more important than the land he loved. He passed the love of land on to his son and was looking forward to farming with him. He missed that opportunity; he died the year his son graduated from high school, but plans remain that his son will farm when he finishes college.
