Christine was my beloved wife for only one-and-a-half years, when suddenly over a week-end she died of AVM (uncontrollable bleeding of the brain) without any warning.

The greatest tragedy in life is that we rarely appreciate what we have until we have it no longer. She was so alive and filled with her loving and caring ways. Plus her special type of humor, to have this happen so suddenly was unbelievable!

We were born of this earth to do something. I do believe that there is a place for us. Chris’ strength empowered us in many ways and she really lived it. The quality and fullness of all lives is not measured in length but in the love and examples we leave those who are left behind.

My mom and I have chosen the bride to represent Chris in our memory quilt square because planning for our wedding gave her great joy. The veil used was a section of the veil she wore when we were married.
