Engaging partners to become donation advocates.
I have the privilege to work with LifeSource as a donation liaison to our hospital partners. I strive to honor and serve our donors, donor families and the community I live in. My goal is to be a resource to anyone seeking information about the amazing world of organ and tissue donation. I believe that together we can bring comfort to families experiencing a loss and bring hope to those waiting for a lifesaving gift.
I recently moved from California where I served as an Ambassador for Donate Life. I started with manning Donate Life Booths, and I even wore the donor dot costume (the things you do for the mission!). During my time as an ambassador, I was able to witness firsthand the power of donation and how it affects the lives of so many. From the families of donors to the recipient’s and their loved ones. I also learned of the disconnection in certain communities and wanted to be more involved. Utilizing my knowledge in community relations, customer service, and just a desire to serve, I looked for ways to be more involved.
I am thrilled to be part of an organization who cares about the mission of saving and healing lives. Each day at work is a new adventure with an opportunity to enhance the quality of life for an individual, their families, and friends. I am rejuvenated daily by my colleagues and the overall devotion to this cause. I feel it’s an honor to be involved in any action that improves the quality of life for humanity. I strongly believe we are here to serve one another, and I strive to do that through my work.
