Strong collaboration is key to make donation happen.     

I have the privilege to work alongside hospital and other LifeSource staff to make donation happen. We collaborate and build relationships, provide education and data, update policy, and support our donor families. 

Prior to joining LifeSource, I worked on the trauma/surgical ICU at Regions hospital. I found myself always wanting to have the donor patient when they were on our unit. I was inspired by the work, the process and the passion. As a former Regions ICU RN and donation coordinator for LifeSource, I took the knowledge and experience from both roles in order to be successful in this new role. I not only have clinical experience, but I also have knowledge of policy and procedure from a Regions perspective. 

I have passion for donation. I am humbled by the extreme generosity of donor families on the worst days of their lives and am grateful to be a part of giving another person a second chance at life!
