Dr. Umar Farooq

Dr. Farooq comes to LifeSource most recently from Pakistan where he specialized in living kidney transplantation. Prior to that he completed two fellowships in the U.S., at Methodist Hospital at the University of Tennessee and Wake Forest Baptist Health in North Carolina, respectively.

Through his fellowship work, he became very familiar with OPOs and understands the importance of honoring the donor and their family and the continued support needed for donor families.
