You are a vital component of our community education program
LifeSource Ambassadors are the cornerstone of our public education efforts, dedicated to educating the public about the importance of organ, eye and tissue donation and inspiring others to register as a donor and save lives.
More than 250 LifeSource Ambassadors in Minnesota, North Dakota, South Dakota, and western Wisconsin help us share the life-saving message of organ, eye and tissue donation and transplantation.

What it means to be an ambassador

- Receiving training to share the message of donation and your personal story in an effective and inspiring way.
- Opportunities to volunteer at or be part of LifeSource-initiated events and/or the support you need to create your own community event or opportunity.

Many LifeSource Ambassadors are living donors and/or the recipient of an organ from a living donor. The message is the same – donation saves lives! The goal of the LifeSource Ambassador Program is to inspire more people to check the box and register as a donor on their license or online and your voice can help amplify the message that donors are heroes.

Chris Feneis has experienced the power of donation from both sides.

I think my favorite activity with LifeSource is having the opportunity to educate people on the value of being a donor and how they could potentially impact so many others through the donation process. And as I reflect on my own experience as a recipient, I am always in awe and complete gratitude at how my life has been so totally changed through the donation of a liver from my donor family.
