Arvid E. Johnson

June 15, 1937 – December 17, 1997

Arvid died very suddenly of a brain aneurysm on December 17, 1997. He was very active, still farming and had been out ice fishing that day. We were able to donate his liver and his eyes. We were so pleased to be able to donate; it’s been a wonderful thing for all of us.

We had 3 grandchildren and they were so special to him, they called him “Grandpa Buddy”. Another granddaughter was born a month after he died.

My sister made the quilt square using his favorite things – farming (red barn) and fishing.
