Peter, my youngest child, has watched me cross-stitch and sew for most of his life. At the age of 5, he started on a needlepoint project which took several years. Peter created a quilt design in Geometry class which he sewed himself into a 16” quilt block. Since his passing I turned that block in to a lap quilt in his memory. I chose to cross-stitch his quilt block while remembering his intent on perfection while he stitched and sewed his quilt block. Peter, you have now reached perfection!

The colors refer to his “All about Fun” personality, the purple and grey for being a “Tommie”

Claddagh ring celebrates Peter’s wife Laura’s love and Irish heritage which he took full advantage of.
