“How can we do this better?”
The process of organ, eye and tissue donation is incredibly complex and requires many people working in concert to accomplish a lot on a short amount of time. My job is to make the process as efficient and effective as possible; identify opportunities for improvement; embed best practices; and use quality improvement principles to make data-driven strategic decisions.
Prior to joining LifeSource, I worked in various roles including healthcare practice, and research operational management, as well as quality and process improvement advisor (engineer) roles using LEAN and Six Sigma methodologies. I also earned a Masters of Health Administration and a Bachelor of Science in Administrative Management, both from Missouri State University.
I feel attached to the mission of LifeSource; if I can add value by applying my skills to those who are performing these lifesaving actions, there is no higher reward than helping those who help others.
