Foundation Support in 2018
During the final quarter of 2018, LifeSource received word of financial support from two Foundations.
IBM Corporate Citizenship
IBM approved a $1,000 grant to support Design Thinking education for Upper Midwest Organ Procurement (LifeSource). This grant is awarded in recognition of the volunteer service of IBM employee, Justin Gilbert. Thank you for your advocacy and generosity, Justin, and members of the IBM Corporate Citizenship team!
Engelsma Family Foundation
In mid-December Engelsma Family Foundation announced a $17,500 grant to “support marketing and educating people on how to become a donor.” The Engelsma Family Foundation describes its mission to “…focus support on programs / services that will empower individuals and serve as a catalyst to promote change in our communities. . .” We are grateful for the generous support of the Engelsma Family to raise awareness of the importance and impact of donation in our communities.
