Our father’s entire adult life was filled with service to others – through his work and through his volunteerism. This quilt square, built upon fabric from one of his shirts, displays patches from some of the uniforms he wore while carrying out this service. Of the many service works he performed, we have chosen those most dear to him: County Sheriff, Volunteer Firefighter, US Air Force, VFW and The Avenue of Flags. As a donor, his “Life of Service” to others continues.
