Advancing Donation Education and Conversations in All Communities

As the Community Engagement Liaison, I am responsible for reaching specific, diverse, and underrepresented communities to drive and increase support for organ, eye and tissue donation through the aligned development, implementation and execution of public education, and community outreach and engagement programs with strategic initiatives of the organization.

Prior to starting at LifeSource, I spent a total of 9 years as a Community Engagement Manager for UCare and Medica health plan. I have more than 18 years of outreach and community engagement experience in the healthcare field and have served in several committees and advisory groups all over the state.

I decided to join LifeSource because I believed in the mission of saving lives; and I enjoy coming to work every day because I’ve witnessed how the equity, diversity inclusion commitment is important to leadership and staff. As part of the Latine community in MN, I understand how important it is to make sure that ALL are welcome and included. I want to make sure ALL communities and individuals have access to information so that they make an informed decision when the time comes.
