Anyone Can Give this Type of Donation

In our world, we typically use the word “donation” to refer to the life-saving gifts of organs, eyes and tissues. In my role, I grow our network of generous financial contributors which help us support donor families and conduct community education.

Prior to joining LifeSource, I worked in leadership and development with a small education advocacy nonprofit. I’ve also worked as a social worker in a state-operated long-term care facility and as an evaluator for programs licensed by the Department of Human Services.

My father has received the gift of sight through cornea transplant and the gift of tissue for heart bypass surgery and knee replacements. Every day, I am inspired by my dedicated colleagues and by the people I’ve met whose lives have been forever changed because of donation.
