Our son, Brett, passed away at the age of 21 following a head injury in May 2019 and was an organ donor. 

Competitions/Events at the 2022 Transplant Games of America
We are going to participate in the 5K, Donor Family Trivia, Quilt Pinning Event and Award Volunteers. 

How many Transplant Games have you attended?
This is our first time at the Transplant Games. 

Why do you participate in the Transplant Games? 
To honor those who have either been donors or recipients. It is important for us to continue to share the gift and message of organ donation. 

One thing you want others to know about donation.
Donation has given us a positive voice and platform that so many parents who have tragically lost a child don’t get to have. It has helped us in our healing process by talking about Brett to so many others, sharing stories about him and donation.
