Advancing the Donation Field Through Research
As the Research Coordinator, I establish and maintain relationships with researchers and other professionals to enhance, improve and maintain a collaborative research environment that fosters research donation opportunities.
I am an international medical graduate and sports medicine specialist who has made significant contributions to research for over 17 years. My role as a clinical researcher in rehabilitation and sports medicine has been instrumental in advancing medical knowledge and enhancing patient care.
Having served as a physician and clinical researcher, I possess a well-rounded understanding of the research process. This experience has equipped me with expertise in study design, practical clinical knowledge, ethical considerations, effective collaboration, communication skills, and data analysis abilities. These qualities play a vital role in my capacity as a research coordinator, ensuring the scientific rigor of projects and facilitating the translation of research findings into tangible improvements in patient care.
Working as a research coordinator in an organ procurement organization (OPO) offers a unique opportunity to make a direct impact on saving lives and improving patient care in the field of organ transplantation.
